Lydall's microglass grades are the products of choice for engine manufacturers and large fleet managers for critical applications. They are ideal for heavy duty lube applications in trucks, heavy machinery and off-road vehicles. LyPore Defender and LyPore exhibit high efficiency soot and fine contaminant removal, reducing engine wear. These grades are optimized for increases in media dirt holding capacity, fluid flow rates and strength at high temperatures and pressures. Hydraulic machinery components such as pumps, bearings, valves, cylinders, gears, motors and seals are subject to wear. Proper filtration reduces particle contamination in the hydraulic oil, which reduces abrasive wear in components and improves equipment operational efficiency.
